Cuts down incoming infrared radiations and cools rooms

On absorption of moisture, the hydrogel turns opaque, cutting down incoming infrared radiations coming through the window by half. It also helps in reducing greenhouse heat build-up and maintains temperature in rooms cooler by 7 degrees celsius. Moreover, it doubles-up as a privacy screen (Transparent-Opaque transition in dehydrated and hydrated states).
